Life's been busy and good and wacky. Mom is supposed to return tomorrow. It'll be interesting. We've talked here and there while she's been away. One minute she tells me how much she misses me and then the next second she'd chew me out for something or another. Such is Mom.
Hey, did I tell you that I now own the ONE RING? I have to admit that I could be a bit more impressed with its power, but I think that has more to do with me than the ring. Because something wonderful and crazy happened over the last couple of weeks. I fell completely and madly in love. With Ed. Again.
Yes, yes, I know. That sounds insane, but I can't explain it. All I know is that while we were away I would feel my heart flip-flop at the wackiest times. Just walking down the street, holding hands, and talking, I'd look up Ed's face and have to catch my breath. It would strike me at the oddest moments how much I love this man and what a debt of gratitude I owe to the powers of the universe for giving him to me. Plus, it helps that we had a FABULOUS time and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful time.
So, it has been very hard for me NOT to spoil the hell out of his Royal Ed-ness. I must rein myself in and allow the power of the ring to take over. I cannot allow myself to spoil him too much because there won't be any going back!!! :-)
So, here it is! Believe me when I say the pic does NOT do it any sort of justice. The details throughout the bottom of the ring are not visible and neither is the beautiful engraving. Don't stare at it too long though. Its power is mesmerizing. Ha ha! :-)
