Mmmm, I'm SOOOO hungry right now. Ed went to pick up a spinach supreme deep dish pie at Lefty's. Yum. I love Thursday nights! That's probably been my favorite night of the week since I can remember.
Things have been kind of quiet these past couple of days actually. It's been busy at work since my boss has returned, but otherwise quiet. My mom has been recovering from jet lag and sleeping a lot, so she hasn't been calling constantly. I haven't heard from S in the last couple of days. I've called and emailed her, but she must really be busy helping M out with the new baby.
My golden babies and I had a great night at the dog park, as usual. They're always so thrilled when I get home from work. Sometimes I think Milo is going to pee himself just waiting for me tie my shoelaces. We spend at least an hour at the dog park every night. With the time change its now dark when we go. I take a flashlight along, but Da Boys know the way there. The dog park has great big field lights so there are still tons of dogs there even though it's after dark. Tonight there were no less than 20 dogs there. A&M were running around meeting and greeting all their four legged friends. Now they're both lying at my feet waiting for daddy to come home with pizza.
I miss Linnea. Her parents were out here for vacation from Chicago. They are truly an amazing couple. They took Ed and I out for dinner to one of our favorite restaurants on Friday night, La Dolce Vita, to celebrate our engagement. It's so nice to feel love and happiness from our friends, especially since our mothers STINK right now. Grrr. After dinner we came back to our house for cheesecake with a fresh berry puree. Ooooh, it was delicious.
Right now everything sounds delicious because I'm so hungry!!!! I'm trying to be good and just snack on walnuts while I wait, but the bag of Brach's Candy Corn is staring at me mockingly from the countertop. That is my favorite candy in the world. I don't mean chocolate, I mean actual CANDY. Last night I ate so many of them I didn't have an appetite for dinner. I have to restrain myself tonight. I just have to.
My spin class was extra special fun this morning. I've had a long, busy day. I ran around in the dog park for an hour tonight. Maybe I should just have a couple of candy corn.
No, wait, maybe I won't.
Oh God. I'm about to go MAD. Where is ED??????? He is not a very quick hunter and forager!!!!!
Did you hear that? Yup. You guessed it. My tummy growling at you through your computer.

Girl, you are too funny!! If I dragged my ass out of bed at 4:45 AM to teach a spin class, you'd better believe I wouldn't be denying myself a thing!! Candy corn, here I come! I love it too, by the way. And those weird little pumpkins that are made out of the same killer sugar "stuff."
