I'm so impressed by the Bears offense in the second half. Unlike the first four games of the season, we actually finished what we started from the first half. This feels very good. Very good, indeed. Charles "Peanut" Tillman. I love him right now. Good job man! Griese wasn't a magician, but he managed the 2nd half wayyyyyy better then Wrecks would have.
I'm also very impressed with our D in the second half. I think Urlacher heard me screaming in my blog!!! He finally woke up and started to do what he's paid to do. Yeah baby! I'm now waiting for John Madden and Al Michaels to pick their player of the game for the horse trailer. I say it should be Peanut Tillman. Without him we would have been down by at least 14 additional points.
Did you know that I've always had a crush on John Madden? I'd marry him in a heartbeat. (Sorry Ed.) I'd do anything to spend my football seasons being driven around the country in a luxury bus attending NFL games. Sweet!!! :-)
BTW, they picked Peanut. He's on the horse trailer. You go boy!

Was there any coverage of the Chicago Marathon out there yesterday or today? With the record heat we had, runners were dropping like flies. One 35 year-old man died. They ended up calling off the rest of the race. Very scary. It shouldn't be in the 90s in October in Chicago. WTF?! It's going to be just as hot today, and we're supposed to do our annual Pumpkin Farm day. I just got off the phone with my sister, and she's trying to ditch me. I've got to go BHFFI!!! [I don't mind you stealing that at ALL, by the way :) ]
Amen to the Bears Offense and impressive D. I literally jumped off the couch when 54 grabbed that interception and led the way for Greg Olson to make his first touchdown in the NFL. A memorable night-one for sure for Chicago. Now we're finally playing like we went to the Super Bowl!!
