She has been the light in our family, especially in recent times. I wish all of my sisters and I got along as well as S and I do.
Describe her? Well, she’s very particular, fancy, a tad spoiled, and yet generous to a fault. Loyal, supportive, humble, intelligent and witty. A science and math whiz, she can also give the world’s best comedian a run for her money. Whip-crack, sarcastic humor. Beautiful on the outside. Gorgeous on the inside. Takes care of our Baba. Tolerates our Mommy. Loves them both and vents with me when they get to be too much.
Adores her sleep. Watches sports with me. Makes sure I never forget I’m her favorite target for ribbing and loving, dry ridicule. (At least I think it’s loving!) A misanthrope at times, an animal lover forever. She loves and takes care of my furbabies when she’s in town. A wonderful listener who can talk ears off at the same time.
Sure, she drives me nuts with her indecisive shopping habits...buy/try-on/exchange/try-on/return/go-back-and-buy-again-but-in-a-different-color/exchange.....you get the picture. But if that is the only “bad” habit someone can have, then I’ll take it, especially given the habits K & M have!
She may move out here to become a teacher. That would be one of the happiest days of my life. I miss her all the time. Love our long talks. Would love them even more if in person and not through technology. But, she may also stay in Chicago. It is the city we love, and I’m in the midst of having an affair with San Diego. I wouldn’t blame her if she didn’t want to leave. A total city gal.
I love that I have 3 sisters. I hate that I don’t have with all of them what I have with S...she is the sister Hallmark cards describe and sappy movies depict. I don’t know if brothers feel the same way towards each other, but I’m thinking if they did the world would be at peace.

Got your message on Thursday. I knew you were way busy with your trial so I didn't want you to feel obligated to see us but I had to let you know we were in town! We were at the fashion show then had cocktails at Solamar and then went to a fun bar/pizza place with pool tables and cement floors. Can't remember the name but it was so much fun! I LOVE San Diego and do plan on many more trips down there esp now that I know you're there too!!!
Hello big sis! Sorry it took me so long to read/comment on my birthday blog from you. It took me the past month and a half of non-stop reading of your blog in order to get to my special section :).
