I think the Cubs know I hate most odd numbers, so they're probably waiting until next year to win since then it will be 100 years since they've won and not 99 years. 100 is a nice, round, even number.
Same goes for the Bears. 2008 is a much better, even number. It also has the number 8 in there, just like our wedding day, 08-08-08.
So, in my self-centered universe, all of my teams are waiting for ME so that I can have the best year EVER. Yay for 2008!!!!
Hey, just for good measure, why don't the Bulls and Blackhawks go ahead and join the mix? AN ALL CHICAGO 2008!
God, can you even IMAGINE!?!? For those of you who know me, I would be in such a state of crazed euphoria that I'd probably need to be tranquilized nightly just to fall asleep. For the rest of my LIFE!!!
Ok, now I really gotta go. Achilles is about to have my toes as an appetizer.
