I hate the Packers, Part II.

It's bad enough that I've had to spend the entire weekend doing work and tending to Mom's needs in preparation for her trip to Afghanistan.

It's bad enough that Mom doesn't acknowledge or appreciate any of the things I do for her or any of the concerns I have on her behalf.

It's bad enough that Syracuse was walloped by West Virginia. WTF Big East?!?!

It's bad enough that my beloved Cubbies were paralyzed by the deadly sting of the flippin' Diamondbacks and SWEPT.

It's bad enough that my 2008 sports season began with Da Bears losing the Super Bowl.

But, while Da Bears did lose the Super Bowl, at least I was happy to say that we had kicked some Packers ass in the regular season.

Well, it saddens me to even fathom that we may not be able to do so this regular season. I hate the Packers. Have I mentioned that to you? 1st quarter tonight, opening kickoff, Packers start at the 16 yard line and within 5 minutes they proceed to PILE DRIVE ALL THE WAY DOWN THE FUCKIN' FIELD FOR A TOUCHDOWN.

Packers 7 - Bears 0

Jeezaloo. Who says the Packers' are at the bottom of the league in rushing yards? Who the fuck is Fred Wynne? Or whachamacallit? He rushed through our defense like a wild river. Urlacher? Hello? Anyone home? WAKE UP!!!

Oh brother, here come Griese. I'd love to just smack Wrecks Grossman. Just once. A solid, loud smack. Please?

Hey out there, blogging world. I desperately need one of my teams, any one of them, to redeem my destroyed sports spirit. I don't care if it's the Chicago Blackhawks!!!! Someone, anyone!!!

Ok, I'm back. Sorry. I was away for a couple of minutes. I got into it with Ed about his Dolphins' loss to the Texans by a field goal with ONE SECOND left on the clock. My punishment? 60 seconds of relentless tickling and weekend beard nuzzling. He scrapes and nuzzles the sides of my stomach and I swear to God I feel like I'm going to pass out. I can't take it! You should have heard me screaming. I had to apologize for my snotty ass comments about his beloved Dolphins.

(Whatever, at least my Bears don't suck as bad as his Dolphins do. Ha! Or, for that matter, his Yankees may also get swept if they lose tonight. What did my beloved used to say when one of my teams won on the days his teams lost?....Misery loves company. That's right. Something like that.)

Ok, I have to pause the game and take my G Unit out for a walk before it gets too dark. Don't anyone tell me the score!

Tom and I are right there with ya and feel your pain! We're watching the game now and after yesterday's loss and this joke of a game I think we're done with Chicago teams for a while.

Nooooo, don't say that! We need to stick together in this toughest of times.

I wish we were all watching the game together. Too bad I've got crappy ass work. Give Wrigs mucho kisses from me!
