I have no idea why. My guess is that I had a cup of coffee late in the afternoon. It wasn't a large cup, but it doesn't take much for me. I love tea and some types of coffees, but if I'm not careful I end up with nights like tonight, unable to fall asleep. Caffeine takes a long time to leave my system. I'm still pretty wired I think.
My other guess is Chi-town Girl. I'm going to kick her ass. She emailed me a never ending list of links to cookie recipes and I've spent over an hour browsing dessert possibilities for Christmas. Let us all pray that it doesn't result in another Cupcake Tree-like disaster. Ed survived it once during the Christmas of '05. I don't think he'll survive another. :-)
My final guess is that after a four day weekend, with no bedtime and lots of sleeping in, my body is just all whacked out and confused.
Whatever the case may be, this nutty gal has to go to bed if she wants to motivate a gym class full of post-Turkey Day spinners....at 5:45 a.m.
Ed just trudged off to bed. It's been a long day for us. Our mothers are in a race. The finish line holds the crown for the ______________ Mom of the Year award. Feel free to fill in the blank based on previous posts. I'm sure you won't be far off.
