Kicks
Do you get into musical kicks? You know, like when you replay the same song or CD over and over for a while (like more than a week)??? I hope so, or else I'm just a nut.
I'm on a David Gray kick this week. I absolutely love his lyrics and melodic tunes. "Sail Away" was a song I'd listen to every chance I got when I fell for Ed. That and "You're the One I Love"---
Today, I was daydreaming about the first few months of our courtship. What laughter, what sheer joy. I still get butterflies thinking back to how madly I fell in love with my Edward. The butterflies, and that rushing sensation in my ears. I adored the sight of him and feel of my hand in his. Many a night we'd be on a date, and I couldn't tell you what he might have said. Because all I could do was stare. I was in a raucous trance. I was in love.
Fast forward to our 6th year together. It has evolved, become more profound, more complex, and definitely more exquisite than I could have ever imagined I deserved. He still makes my heart race, and brings laughter to me like no other.
This entire week I've been on a David Gray kick. Replay of all his greatest songs, and listening to his new album "Draw the Line"....but today, for no catalystic reason whatsoever, I got into daydreaming of us in the beginning, and "Sail Away" and "You're the One I Love" accompanied me the entire day. Over, and over, and over.

I LOVE David Gray!!!! He is one of my absolute favorites and I never knew anyone else who adored his music as well!! Yippe.
Yeah, for great music and yeah for great falling in love memories too.
I remember when the Coach and I were dating, I would come home and shut the front door and lean against it and put my hand to my heart and *sigh* and say: "I am in LOVE"...
my girlfriends used to laugh at me!!!
Hugs to you and your Ed!!!
It's so nice to read about your true love. I am a total believer in it; it's a GIFT.
How wonderful, that you feel that love now, even more, after years of togetherness. That's what it's about, I think: when it's real, it grows, as we grow. God bless both of you! May your love continue to deepen and flourish. XOXO
I LOVE David Gray and just downloaded his live stuff from itunes. "This Year's Love" and "Sail Away" and "Your the World to Me" are my favorites!
