Our gifts for Amos played off his passion for his art and sculpture. His "My Bike" metal kinetic sculpture is going up by the bay this summer, and that's what we had screened on his "Got Kinetic Art?" t-shirt.
We had a "Rock Star" hat embroidered for him, since he is the king of rocks. Give him your river pebbles and mountain slabs, and he'll turn out masterpiece sculptures.
And he really is "Famos", literally and figuratively, so why not tell the world that "I am Famos"?
We love our little Greek restaurant in the middle of Da 'Hood. Next time, we're thinking of going a bit later in the evening so we don't miss the belly dancing and live Greek music. OPAH! (Or as Ed says it, "Oompah!")
Our dearest Amos....may God bless you with many, many more happy, healthy, and love-filled birthdays. Your presence in our life is a gift for us and our little family. We love you very much.
As they say back home, "May you live to witness a thousand splendid birthday suns on your way to heaven."

Happy Birthday Amos!
I'm surprised you didn't get him a box or two of these!!!
Ha ha ha! That's so funny! I'll have to tell him that you said that. He actually gets the giant boxes from Costco and gives a bag to his business clients. The cookies are his "calling card". How totally appropriate!
