Great Friends

Linnea has a post about Three Cups of Tea, a book that I'm really looking forward to reading.
http://linneazeiner.blogspot.com/

Within that post she wrote about me ("N") and I can't tell you how much it touched me. Wow. I never knew she felt that way and it made me love her that much more. I had to take a personal moment after reading that post and grab a Kleenex.

Oh Pretty Lady Linnea, you're GREAT. I miss having you in San Diego. I'm sorry we waited until you moved to Chicago in order to spend more time together, ya know?

Good friends make for a great life.

Great friends make for an exceptional life.

So for Leggs Lynney, Pretty Lady, J., Lady Anna, Tiny Friend, Red Adri, Jewels, Val Val, Justinian, Lil Sis 1, Lil Sis 2, Belov-Ed (because we were friends first and forever), Adrienne, and for the many, many others that would take 20 million posts to complete, including my furbabies and feathered baby...I love you guys. Thanks for making my life an exceptional existence.

Did you ever think that part of the reason you are blessed with so many wonderful people in your life is because it's just so EASY to be your friend? It's effortless. Remember how we talked about that the first time you came down here? And I don't mean that having friendships shouldn't involve effort, because there are definitely times when that is necessary but there are some people that you just click with right off the bat and everything else just evolves into place. The friendship grows without having to push it along with any bit of force. That's what it's been like being your friend. Oh, and the many laughs. Whether it's reading what you wrote on here or phone chats, laughter is a big part of it! And the way you treat your babies is one of the most special qualities about you. How can one NOT love you??

Wow, this has really turned into a Love-fest all around! I'll stop now before your head gets so huge you can't fit through your front door. Belov-Ed wouldn't find that attractive.

Oh and one last thing...

I was thinking about (GOD Forbid) if anything happened to Tom and I, who would take Wrigs? Not to burden you with yet another animal, but there is no one else in this world I would want him with other than you and Belov-ED. So...I guess I'm asking if you guys would be his godparents? Not to put you on the spot or anything. And don't worry, we do have back up, but you guys would be our first choice.

And not to worry, Chum is already spoken for. Can you believe it?? Yeah, Satan called, he wants his son back. Ok, that was mean.

We would not only be honored and absolutely thrilled to have Big Wrigs should anything happen to you and Tom (Allah forbid), we would also be running around getting all kinds of toys and beds and treats prepared for his grand arrival. I can just see his golden butt romping through Coronado dog beach.

HOWEVER, there is a requirement. Chumley has to come, too. You just CANNOT break up those two. As much as they like to get into tussles, they are each other’s best buds. They can’t be separated.

As I’ve always said, he’s a misunderstood kitten. I love Chums and he’s welcome here anytime. Milo is very, very good with cats and birds now.

So, Big Wrigs and Chum-Chum, take care of your mama & papa, otherwise you’ll end up living the rough life in San Diego! :-)
