Ok, I just blew most of my PHAT gift card shopping online. I hate shopping malls. They give me a headache. So, faced with what really amounts to FREE MONEY, what better place than the Internet and all its enticing wonders to spend an afternoon (and not to mention my gift card)!? I pretty much spoiled Ed with my gift card. Can't say yet what I bought him in case he reads this. He doesn't really, but it would be just my luck that he reads it sometime this week!
I have a little leftover so maybe I should spoil myself a little bit, too. Just a wee little bit! :-)

Ok wait, you used YOUR birthday gift card on gifts for Ed? Wow, you are way too generous. Or maybe I'm just really selfish! That was very sweet of you.
Nothing makes me feel better than giving gifts (and money) to those I love and those things I care about. It makes it mine and special forever.
Even when it's for your birthday?!? That is soooo generous and selfless of you. I need to take note.
I don't know about all that generosity and selflessness. I can be as self-centered as the best of 'em, believe me. But, in this instance I was just so happy to have free money that I couldn't resist. My boss is nutty generous!
But, do not fret mon soeur, I very much spoiled myself as well. I'll be receiving another pair of ridiculously expense and ugly European walking shoes in no time! :-)
