I’ve been in love with Adele since I accidentally stumbled on her during a local radio station program. KPRI 102.1 is a San Diego independent radio station that holds new music hours during the week. I listen to it live at work, and I remember when I first heard Adele. I nearly fell off my chair. Her songs ring with the tempo of modern pop music, but the emotion, sound, tone, solid structure of blues and old school soul. Special, for sure.
Adele's voice digs deep in my belly. Amy Whinehouse does the same for me, making me feel as if I’m in the song with her. I’m praying Adele doesn’t fall into the same drugs & alcohol trap that Amy fell into.
Adele’s going to be on Ellen DeGeneres again today, and I’ve got TiVo set to go. Here’s “Rolling in the Deep” live while she was on Ellen. I hope she makes a blues & soul album someday, in the style of Etta James, Ella, and Nina Simone. I don’t know if I’d be able to control my joy.

Speaking of spinning, dear Sue from Random Ramblings will join my class this Saturday morning (bright and early at 7 am!) and afterwards we’ll be going out for a long overdue breakfast together. We haven’t seen each other in a while and I’m looking forward to catching up with her sweet self. Fo’ sho’ I’ll be climbing a mountain with Adele again.

I can't believe you do anything at 5:45 am besides sleep. Really??? Spinning. That looks to me like torture...you should take some terrorists to class with you; that will teach them a lesson on being bad peeps.
I love Adele. Soulful. Deep. Haunting. She is on my xm/serius coffee channel all the time.
I saw her on Ellen. I did not fall on the floor and have a fit...but then again, I am not as crazy/wacky/funny as you. I mean, if it was Dave Matthews, well then we have to call in the paramedics.
