We were having a very serious, very adult debate about designer babies when all of a sudden, Ed was surprised to learn that I'm all for designer babies!
"WHAT?! Seriously?!" He couldn't believe his ears.
"But of course! Wouldn't you just love to have a designer baby? One with huge adorable velvety brown eyes, floppy soft ears, a bit of warm Golden tummy fuzz, a pair of light feathery wings, and four wobbly little legs??? Wouldn't you!?"
*blink*
*blink*
Then it dawned on him.
"Oh...never mind!" he mumbled as he carried on with what he was doing.
What!? Did I say something wrong? I love my Captain Morgan, my Milo, and my Achilles, and I will always love and miss my Nick. He lives forever in my heart. This would be a perfect melding of my love of fur and feathers. I'm a genius!
So, my designer baby might be born looking like this:

This is precious! I LOVE these pictures! And of course, you know that Nick and my sweet dear departed Chloe are frolicking in Dog Heaven as we speak (er, type...) (In fact, have you ever seen the book "Dog Heaven"? It's soooo sweet.... I got it for the kids after Chloe died. They were 7 and 8 when she died. Next time you're at the bookstore, check it out... it's in the children's section.)
