Super Bowl XLII - Chargers v. Packers

This is Packer, the Bulldog. Please God, save me from the Cheeseheads. It's bad enough the Bears didn't even end the season with a winning record, but then to have the Packers in the playoffs on top of that...it's too much for one girl to bear. Jeezaloo.

Actually, having the Packers in the playoffs is not as bad as when the White Sox won the World Series. I was so fucking pissed off when that happened that I wanted to spit. Grrr!

Mary Beth, Helen and Amanda have a brother who has a dog named Lambeau. I wonder if they're related? Probably not. I think Lambeau is a Sharpei mix. He's a lot cuter, too. Maybe they can post a picture of Lambeau in his all his Cheesehead regalia? Hee hee.

That's it. Here are the choice of names for all future pets of mine:

1) Ditka
2) Sid
3) Fridge
4) Butkus,
5) Staley,
5) Lovie, and here's the best one of 'em all...
6) Halas!

All of my Bears fan pals will know why I picked these names. :-) Care to vote for your fave?

My predictions for this weekend: Chargers over Patriots 21-14, and I hate to say this, but Green Bay over the Giants 24-21.

With that, I leave you with this story that once again demonstrates how unstable and mad-cow CRAZY Green Bay Packers fans are:
Father arrested for forcing son to wear Green Bay Packers jersey
The Associated Press
4:08 PM CST, January 16, 2008
PORTAGE, Wis.

Upset that his 7-year-old son wouldn't wear a Green Bay Packers jersey during the team's playoff victory Saturday, a man restrained the boy for an hour with tape and taped the jersey onto him.

Mathew Kowald was cited for disorderly conduct in connection with the incident with his son at their home in Pardeeville, Lt. Wayne Smith of the Columbia County Sheriff's Department said. Pardeeville is about 30 miles north of Madison. The 36-year-old Kowald was arrested Monday after his wife told authorities about the incident. Kowald was taken to the county jail and held until Wednesday, when he pleaded no contest, paid a fine of $186 and was released.

Kowald's wife filed a restraining order Wednesday, so Kowald will not be able to have contact with his family, Smith said. Smith said other domestic issues have surfaced, though he wouldn't elaborate.

The boy refused to wear the jersey Saturday, when the Packers beat the Seattle Seahawks in a playoff game, Smith said. Smith said the incident sounded strange when reported at first, but the mother took pictures with her cell phone and that type of evidence is difficult to dispute.

everyone in our family is wondering if Lambeau's owner is on his way to Green Bay, WI even now :) Dad is excited about football for the first time in a very long time. He was born and raised in Tomah, WI which should explain the family's allegiance.
