It is over!

Whew!

It's over. Today is finally over. The minions are taking care of the last minute copying, collating and distribution.

Amazing, huh? Somehow in the midst of today's madness I was able to post my mad blogs. I'm impressed.

You know what else I was able to do just NOW? Sign my golden boys up for their doggie insurance! Yay. After a few weeks of exhaustive research we decided upon Pets Best Insurance. We were all out of pocket when Nick was diagnosed with lymphoma, so this time we're hoping that (God forbid) if our golden boys get sick we'll have some assistance with all the bills and stuff.

I just took a looooong, deeeeep breath. It's been a long week and I'm so happy for the weekend. I have a couple of things to take care of with my mom and grandmother tonight, but then the weekend is mine.

I'm meeting a new friend tomorrow, Laura, a friend that Nick brought into my life. I've been so excited for this meet-up that it's almost embarassing! We have our golden babies in common and so much, much more. There is a part of me that is nervous because ya never know if you'll get along with someone in person as opposed to email, but there is another bigger part of me that believes that this was meant to be. Nick's spirit has been with me through all of this with me. It is is not easy for women to find good female friends, especially in this modern, cut-throat day. I have a feeling Laura is going to turn out to be as great in person as she appears on paper. Her furbabies and her hubby are lucky folks!

Booooooy, there is going to be some vino drinkin' this weekend!!!
